Hi, I’m Iris the founder of the Candle Craftery
Because of circumstances I decided to take up the art of making candles and let people in on my journey through my website, also the kids really love it.
My mission is to show people all the do’s and don’ts and everything surrounding the making of candles. But most important, that it can be a fun and cool thing to do.
How cool would it be to be able to give your own made candles away to a friend as a personal present? Wouldn’t it sparkle joy?

The Life That Feeds The Craft: Meet Iris, the Artist Behind the Candles
I am a mother and have a family, I have two girls(11 and 13) and a boy(9). They are the loves of my life, my world, my everything.
My love to create a variety of things led me to a point where I now fulltime attend media design school where I learn how to create things with programs such as adobe photoshop, illustrator or indesign.
It sometimes is a real challenge to combine all, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
In Pursuit Of More: Iris’s Hobbies and Interests Outside Candle Making
Outside Candle making I love reading books, hiking and learning photography.
During the pandemic these hobbies have influenced me a lot. It has tought me that life is precious and should not be taken for granted. It led me to doing more of what I love most in life.
